Holley SR on Vortec heads?
Can it be done? I know there are TPI baseplates to fit the vortec heads but does holley offer a vortec mounted SR? I was just interested because for 500$ you can get the intake/baseplate and convert your TPI with the SR...but there doesn't seem to be a SR intake to fit vortec heads....\

an HSR will not fit on any vortec heads. the only ones I know that will fit are TPI vortec baseplates and Mini-ram for vortec heads. I am using a mini-ram for vortecs on my fastburn motor

It's a big splice of things. I've got a miniram and an aftermarket computer setup on the 363. running LS1 injectors and 52mm throttlebody. I've got 58cc Fast Burn heads, they are very nice, pleased with them, the 363 is a screamer, but it's only an 11 second car I got the miniram cause it's a solid roller motor and that was the only reasonably priced intake that can rev to 7000 rpm wihtout a problem. It's more or less a detuned race setup.

vortec/fast burn are the same thing except cast iron as opposed to alum right?
the miniram is nice...but way too expensive.....SR is like 600$ for the setup...the complete setup for miniram to convert is over like 1300$.....oh well...maybe holley will make a vortec SR in the future

the vortec heads and regular manifolds don't fit because there is a gap right? so theoretically you could make a shim to fill in the extra space so vortecs would work with a 23 degree intake?
