what is everyone using for starters?
after i broke in my new cam, and tried to restart the engine the starter just clicked a few times. tried to start it 10 minutes later and started without any problems. I think the heat from the the headers is killing the solenoid(sp?) already. the starter is a cheap one from autozone, and weighs about 100 pounds and is a PITA to get out.
its only about 3 cm from the headers
i heard i could use an LT1 starter....are they any smaller?
do i need a high torque starter for 9.5 CR?
any other options?

I solved the heat soak problem from my SLP headers by using a high torque Minni-Starter. That was 3yrs ago and no problems since the installation. Various solutions to a heat soak condition, but the Minni worked for me.

I have been using a mini starter from the CSI company. It weighs like 5 lbs. My car has never had a problem starting. And with the LTs I run, it slipped in very easily...
