NEW l98 motor! only $1100

NEW l98 motor! only $1100
I found a new l98 shortblock less cam, timing for $1100 from scoggindickey i believe. Problem is it's $200 to ship from FL to NY. Can someone please help me find the same new roller l98 shortblock close to Long Island NY so i can go pic it up. I've tried searches and dealers, can't find 'em. Thanks a lot.
Oh and BTW, I'm getting a little crazy and in a nutshell, I'm putting Trick flow aluminum 66cc heads, Vortech supercharger and a Superam on it. I own all of this already. My last 355 broke. I ran out of money, so I have to do a cheap rebuild, or face not using the car at all for years. I cannot spend more than $1500. The motor is $1100 and the cam and timing should be $400. Anyway, does anyone see a major problem w/ this setup? I Figure that other poeple have put this stuff on low mile l98's and they lasted, so it should work. Compression will be 8.9:1 w/ my heads. i want to run 10lbs boost, but could maybe go w/a smaller pulley if i can get one and go 7lbs boost. So anyway, please, DO you know where I can get the motor and do you see any problems w/ the setup if it's tuned and not leaning out? thanks a lot! -Justin

It looks like I'm gonna be selling my 87 GTA TPI 350 real soon. The engine is stock with a little over 57,000 miles on it. It's still in the car and runs great. I'm getting ready to stick a 383 in there real soon so I'm looking to get rid of it. If you're interested - please let me know. I'm in Queens.
BTW - I also have the 700-R4 to go with it.....and a GTA horn button.

wow really? I'll take the horn button asap, and the tranny and motor as soon a s you take them out. my email is munks@optonline.net so we can talk more about it. That motor should work out perfect. very intersting that you happen to live on LI too. Also, why are you getting rid of the 700 R4? differnt tranny? and how many miles on it ? 57k also? I need a tranny too. how soon are you getting rid of it all? thanks a LOT! -Justin
