Engine build

This will be the first engine i have ever built. I want to do it right, and i want your help to see if my combination would work. I know this has been a tried combo but i still want to know everyones opinion, and yes i have read past posts. I am going to start with a zz partial engine/shortblock, does it come balanced? what would i have to do to it to make it driveable out of the box?. Pro Topline heads, from the information i have read i should go with the 180cc runners, and 64cc combustion chambers. Im not sure which cam to throw in there, maybe the "HOT" cam or something like it, and roller rockers i have no clue what size 1.5 or 1.6.... for the intake i would like to put on a Stealth Ram...this will be street drivin, and pretty much almost daily driven. Tell me what you think about this combination, and any of your opinions on if it would be good or not or what i should change or am missing. would i use the same distributer? or need a new one....and i am also taking off all the smog crap, and thinking of gettin hooker long tubes. Well please give me your opinion it would be greatly appreciated!!

my opinion.. if you want a good motor reasonably priced, i'd talk to some local machine shops. almost without exception they can beat the price of the ZZ4 motors, and give you a motor with stronger stuff. you know who put it together. and they give you advice on demand about what works what's available and precautions .

daily driver 350 i'm not ultra familiar with the stealth ram.

but i can tell ya what workds real well on a modified tuned port setup.

355, 10.-10.5 :1 compression. vortec heads, vavle job, propper springs. comp xr269hr-12 cam, your choice of cranks be it iron, or forged depending on futur plans, X rods, your choice of pistons same.. cast or forged depending on the futur plans.... 1 3/4 headers. idles very very smooth, power from idle till over 5000rpm, rolls down the highway smooth dependent on tuning good fuel economy and outstanding daily driven power...
not obnoxious, but definitly boogies when you stand on it.
