Axle/Gears: Auburn Pro / 3.42
Whats the easyest way to swap engine mounts?

Wasnt quite sure were to post this.

1 Whats the best place to jack the engine up?

2 whats the best way to take the mounts out without losing the nuts in the crossmember?

im putting in es mounts to try and get the slp headers to clear the stearing shaft

get a cherry picker and pull the motor up with that and then take off the trans mount so the trans will move with it. you may have to drop the drive shaft and the toque arm. thats the best way to do it. also put the car on jack standes and take off the front tires so the springs will come decompressed and you have more room for your hands to get in the lower control arm in the from to get the bolts out with out loseing them also make have to remove the hood and put the chery picking on the pass. side of the car so you and lift it up and not at a 45º don't lift the motor to high uness you start to disconect crap like the hoses, fuel lines, wireing ect.

Is there any way to do this without a cherry picker cause I dont have one.

put a jack on the oil pan but you can mess up your oil pan doing that. even with putting a block of work on the jack it still isn't a good thing
