2.8 to ?????

i am currently doing a motor swap in my 85 camaro berlinetta. It origionally came with a 2.8 ltr v-6 however that is way to slow so i want to put a new motor in. i am thinking of going with a 350 but then again you can always go bigger than that maybe a 400 or a 383 i don't know. what do you think?

It all comes down to dollars. Another consideration is emissions. The great thing is that you have many choices depsneing on your goals.

I would probably go 383 since the 350 blocks are easy to come by.

I've got to agree that it comes down to dollars (and work, if you are doing it yourself). Is there some reason why you don't want to buy a car with a bigger engine? (It sounds like it might be too late and you've already started the work).
