LT1 cam/valve springs on 305?

just wondering...would an LT1 cam and valve springs work on a 305, or are they 350 specific?

Anytime you increase the lift and duration from doing a cam swap, or even if you're just swapping a stock cam, it's a VERY good idea to change springs.

Sure, you might be able to get by without changing them, but why risk it? The LT1 cam isn't an expensive swap, so why not change the inexpensive springs?

You can use Comp Cams #981-16 from Jeg's or Summit for ~$60.

Or you can get LT1 springs (#98241) -->HERE<-- for less than $25.

Either one of those are drop in replacements.
