Total engine weight: 2300 tons (The crankshaft alone weighs 300 tons.)
You might want to consider some stiffer front springs.

Imagine the tire spin with that sucker!!!

I wonder if that would exceed the load range of my tires!!!

Cool pictures though, I wonder how they move it out of that factory and onto a ship??? Can a crane move 2300 tons???

Ooops, didn't read the article, ummm I think they actually build it on the freight, I don't think that thing is possible to move.

I would think it is built on the boat, but in the picture it sure looks like a factory...

Oh well, they sure are some neat photos...

Kinda looks like an old Fireball I used to have, only scaled up a bit!!!

If any of you remember in the movie Titanic in the engine room... I've spent a couple hours or so walking around the real steam engine they used in the film. It's actually in a Liberty ship docked in San Francisco. I thought that thing was massive but that diesel makes it look tiny lol. The guy running it would stick his hand in between the counterweights to check if the bearings were getting hot or not while it was running.

Instead of quarter mile testing, just use like a 5 mile test...

"hey whats your car do the 5 mile in?"

"oh, you know, I'm runnin 8s!!"

Now THAT is what i call a big block

I'd love to see the size of the boring bar needed to overbore that baby, lol.

You could use the headers as a waterslide for f*ck sakes!! lol.

Wonder what the RWHP is on that.... :hail:
