87 IROC w/ zz4
i saw this car on autotrader.com....the ad says it has the ZZ4 engine. i did some slight research on this engine, and it sounds like a badass engine (355 HP, 405 ft.lbs. of torque). can anyone give me some more info/advice on this car/engine?
oh, and here's a pic of the car:

I dunno, is that a jackstand under that car or is it just me, lol. No the ZZ4 is a great engine. Especailly if you don't want to have to modify it when you get it to raise the HP. I am no engine pioneer though.
I'm just kidding. I can't tell if there is or not. But I do know if you get the right torque converter and the right tires you can do that with an engine that isn't even all that powerfull because of the tremendous power boost you get from takeoff from the torque converter and the engine already at a high RPM while at a stand still.

I have a stock ZZ4 in my 67' Camaro. I installed a 88' TPI system with MAF. Have had absolutely NO Problems after 3 years and 20,000 miles. I have TPIS base manifold, 52 mm TB, and level 5 prom, all other pieces are stock. Also have 700R4 trans with 3.36 in the rear. Ran 13.59 at 101 on street tires.
