What mods will be needed on the TPI for a mild 400? I've seen a few things that have been done but bottom line what will I NEED to do?

you NEED to find a way to shove more air into that motor.

what you dont need is long runners for even more TQ.

so my suggestion would be a diffrent intake..

converted LT1 or miniram would be ideal.

If you still wish to use the TPI intake setup, I would recommend a definite port job on it, and probably making a siamese port job out of it. This will probably give you sufficient air for a mild 400. Good luck with it.
