Question engine swap/fuel delivery

I need help please! I'm doing a 383 swap in my 90 Camaro and I'm dumping the TBI for a Holley 3310 carb. I read the tech article about the efi to carb swap, but it didn't really go into details on fuel delivery. The 383 will be pushing about 400hp. Do I go with a fuel pressure regulator or do I go with a fuel pump? If I go with a fuel pump do I use a mechanical in-tank pump or an electric one, or does it matter at all?

You can run a regulator with a return line and not have any problems. Mine has been that way for over 4 years now.
