lt1 & t56 driveshaft ??? Does it fit right.
lt1 & t56 driveshaft ??? Does it fit right.
I'm almost done with my swap. I swaped in a 95 lt1 and t56. I put the stock 3rd gen driveshaft back in. The driveshaft can only side in to the trans about 1 inch before it bottoms out. This is with the rear axel hanging on the shocks. Is this enough?? I don't want to go killing my trans the first time I take it out
thanks

Did you give the ouput shaft and driveshaft end a nice coat of gear oil?
I'm not having a problem installing it. I'm just wondering if it might be too long. There is only abaout an inch of slide with it installed before the yoke would hit the tail housing of the trans.
It will work..
