Final plans, need help

Okay, after getting everything checked out and evaulated here are the final plans for the 76 LT into the 82 Z.

I am only swapping the 350 from the LT into the 82 z-28. My z-28 is fuel injected and to make it easier, I am going to get a regulator for the fuel pump (any type?) so that I do not have to drop the tank. I am touching the least things possible on this swap (for now).

I need any and all help with the wiring. I just want to get this thing to run, and the gauges to work. No emissions what so ever. What will I run into while doing this swap that will throw a novice like me out of the water. What parts will I need to buy?

I really need to get this swap done in about 2 days, or else I'll be waiting a long time before I'll have enough time to work on it again. Its going to be me and a buddy, again any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you're going with a carb setup right? If so I would imagine you're taking off most of the electronic stuff on the motor right? There's really not a whole lot to hook up on the wiring side, mainly just to the guages, but also the power. I would suggest you mark everything with masking tape telling where it goes before you pull the motor. The wires that will no longer be used can be rolled up and mounted out of the way. Here's the main wiring stuff you'll need: tach - plugs into the dizzy, battery feed to the coil on the dizzy, water temp sensor, knock sensor if you have one, all grounds to the block and of course the positive feed to the alternator. That's about all I can think of right now. I'm in the middle of a rebuild/swap myself, so I'll remeber more stuff when I put it back in. If you need any help, feel free to PM/email me.
