Hey guys how's this sound I found 2 Lt-1's that are GM takeouts for $650-$750. These are complete motors minus the intake, water pump and opti. So how's that sound the cheaper one may need a new oil pan but the other one looks like its never been used so the guy is telling me. I gotta find time to go look at these. He had 6 now hes down to 2.

These motors had a cold engine knock only when they were started 1st thing in the morning. I'd heard about them before and had someomegonna find one for me but I just heard about these. So should I jump on one or look for a better deal?

Nobody know anything about these early take outs? I was told they are from the corvette.

 

What year are they? I do not think the price is worth it if the intake, etc. is gone. If you do end up with another setup. I would advise replacing the water pump and opti regardless of their condition.
