TPI on a 383?!
im swapping my 305 tpi for a 383, was going to go carb but was wondering if the 305 tpi setup will work on a 383. anyone know? thanks

Yes it will fit on there but you would have to keep all the computer crap and have it retuned...Carbed will give you more power but you may give up convenience in the long run...equal trade offs eather way!

Axle/Gears: need 3.73
You can use the old TPI setup from your 305 but you will need bigger injectors and replace the fuel pump. Sensors will need to be replaced as well such as the knock sensor and so on. Myself, I am looking to buy a 383 (warranty issue) vice build one. Best place to find a 383 would be Ebay.

thats what i figured. its a gta and i just wanted to swap the intake on to the 383 just to make it easier so i don't have to chase wires. wanted to do a 6 pack on it but after swapping a motor in my camaro and seeing what i have for space with the stainless lines, i figured id take the lazy route and just put the tpi back on.
