can get a smoking deal on a zz4 cam so i want to use this in my lg4 305 that i switched from a tpi to a performer rpm and a 600 holly also has headers and a 3500 stall 350 turbo with 373 posi
anyone have any comments on this setup

 

It's kind of alot of cam for a 305, but should be OK, given the rest of your setup; assuming of course that your LG4 is a 87 roller one. The ZZ4 cam is a roller. It will be a PITA to put it in a 86-back motor. It will also get choked by the 2¼" LG4 exhaust, if you still have any of that on it.

 

yes its roller block and all the exhaust is gone just open headers all this car is a weekend toy for the dragstrip just running this motor as a test bed to see what i can get out of a 305 before it blows up allready working on a replacement 406 as funds allow after the cam swap then comes the nos and the fun is really gonna begin
