If you want to have real power remeber to swap heads and cam, those parts in tbi 305 aren't any HiPo parts

I would take your christmas money, build your a 350, cover it up in a garage, find a scrapped TPI 350 system, order the 300 Holley Stealth Ram to upgrade the TPI 350 and slap that one there. And how old are you? I am about 16.

yeah, just go for building your 350. Then when other money starts rolling in, add parts slowly but surely and whenever it is done, and it WILL get done, just throw that in there. You'll know the engine better and have more options of putting higher performance stuff on it. I too know about the poor teenager thing......17, no money, and driving a L03 that gets beat by almost anything out there....but that'll only last a little while longer....

I would and i will do it this way: first I build a good 350 short block with a decent hipo cam, use it with L03 heads and TBI stuff.
Once I have saved enough money i get good heads and whole TPI system from a donor car. But before that I rebuilt my tranny and rear end with 3.4 gears and posi plus i will get my suspension and brakes upgraded for big HP's. As my plans are that this project will be totaly done in 3-4 years I will try to get some free HP (not much but some) by modifying exhaust making a cold air intake.

Ps. I know I have bad habit to write long texts

AGHHHHHH!!!!!! Tell me ONE good reason why you would ever reuse the stock L03 heads??? Ok, how about I tell you my one good reason...for a boat anchor!!!!! Seriously, dont' reuse those heads. You'll be sadly disappointed with the "new" power you'll be making....or lack thereof. Get the L69 heads or L98 heads, they flow MUCH better than anything the L03 can dream of. Just build yourself a long block and then throw on the TBI stuff....or better yet just save up for a while and get a whole L98. They can be head for like $800 so really you're halfway there. Then get some vortec heads and LT4 HOT CAM and you'll be making some awesome power. But that is getting a little ahead I guess... Good luck though.
