LT1 running too cold, help!

i swapped in a 95 LT1. since the swap, it has seemed to run cold. now that i need the heater, this is true. i can drive it for long periods of time and it doesnt seem to heat up enough. the fan seems to come on way early. i replaced all the fan switches and all the sending units, and even the thermostat. what else can i do?

Did you have the PCM reprogrammed? It may be programmed to have the fans come on at a very low temperature.

Have you tried a warmer t-stat? Maybe a 195 or 210?

Use a piece of cardboard to block part of the airflow to the radiator.

I wouldn't remove the air dam, it might make it too hot. Without it the radiator doesn't see much airflow.

Removing the air dam is a bad idea

i think engine is at right temp, did some checking, heater is just cold. i know the heater core is ok. how does a guy hook up the heater control valve with this swap? maybe i have the valve going to the wrong nipples.
