Engine: both L98s one with SD and one with MAF
Transmission: both 700R4s
4th gen motor swap
how about a 4.3 in a 4th gen where a 3.4 was originally? just motor mounts, trans, and carb and intake right?

Would be an interesting swap. There was a guy here doing something like that. The fourth gen V6 puts out more horse power than my 305 TPI did.
Some thoughts:
Mounts will have to be purchased or fabbed.
PCM and wiring harness integration needed.
Fuel system upgrade or modification will be needed.
There are a few 4th gen V6 guys running 12s with these engines on No2. I am sure you can get one for a fraction of the cost of a LS1.
