Does anyone have any information on swapping a Pontiac engine into a 3rd gen Firebird. I have seen cars with the swap but I don't know what is involved. I want to make my firebird a real Pontiac!

 

Try doing a search on this topic. It has been brought up many, many times and there is a lot of info here about this swap. Indian Adventures has the mounting brackets and headers. Will need the Pontiac tranny and a rear end upgrade. And of course subframe connectors. Which Poncho engine are you considering?

Thanks for the welcome! I plan on putting a 455 in my 87 firebird. It has a LG4 in it now. I just bought an 89 Formula 350 yesterday for a song. It needs work but I will keep the TPI 350 in that one. Thanks for your help!
