350?

will a 1970 350 engine bolt into the same mounts as the stock 305 engine in my '84 trans am?

yes but there's a bit more to consider than it bolting up.

actually nothing, you have a 84 so there would be no differances. the one piece crank seal caused soem other changes but that doesn't apply to you. you should have a direct bolt in swap.

there is nothing diferent from 70 to 84, cept that the oil stick moved to pass sid ein 1980, thats all thats different really, you will be fine, the car wont know the difference but you will feel it
