havin trouble with my motor

I just dropped in my rebuilt motor everything went fine until i tried to start it, so i checked the distributor and i got 12 volts going in but not coming back out to the plugs, so i changed the coil, module, condensor and all the wires inside and still the same thing all my wires on the starter are hooked up and all the ground wires are connected, any suggestions?

Do you have fuel? Did you install the distributor the right way? Double check those. What kind of motor is this on? Did you plug everything back on right?

Am I reading this correctly? You're turning on the ignition, and expecting 12 volts out of the spark plug wires w/o the engine turning over?
