new engine to tranny question
hey guys,
i recently found a 5.7L 350 that was sitting in an old '87 suburban. Its TBI and i was wondering if it would mount up to the tranny that i have in my '90 RS? Also is there anything else i would need to change to make the swap from the '90 305 to the '87 350? i would like to do away with most of the wires that fill up the engine bay, can i do away with these and just run the engine and hook up my gauges and be done? any information u guys could offer would be a huge help.
