Theres hope for your 1969-1973 engine swap PICS INSIDE!!!!!
Here is when I first got the engine:
Now please bear with me, It still needs a new filter, maybe headers, but Ill prob just thermo wrap them. As you can see its a pretty shotty setup.
It was built with 100% universal parts, nothing fit properly, You cant see the power steering pump in this pic, but the brcket for it fit under the bottom right bown where u can see those 2 bolt holes. This was a major problem, the pitman arm would actually hit the power steering pump and obviously thats a problem.
So here is after a lot of custom bracket work, I realise its still ugly, and No its not that rusty, it just seems a little worse there is a lot of condensation on it from the recent snow fall.
But after weeks of modding, and lots of cuts and what not.
Heres the new look of her.
Dont give me crap cause its ugly, thats comming on the way, just remember I just finished actually getting her to run properly
Let me know what you think, and has anyone else put an oldy engine in your thirdgen???

Yeah shes ugly all right. But I have no intention of pulling the engine just for paint. I think I'll just let her be ugly. At least she goes like a bat outta hell.
That and I have lots of other things occupying my time right now

I had the 700R tranny, The 350 engine and 350 turbo tranny just go hand in hand, and when people ask me what ive got i just say "350, 350 turbo"
Did you have any trouble getting the power steering pump to sit right. I had to steal my entire setup outta a 1986 Bronco in order to get her working right.
If anyone ever laughs at the color of my engine, I just tell them it puts out over 360 horse and why dont you laugh at that

we've got an 86 Camaro so we didn't have any problems. We have the older style alternator and power steering pump..
Amazingly everything bolted right up, we just stole the pulleys from the old engine.

Tell them it's traditional Chevy Orange Who cares what it looks like, more what it can do.
