Early 350 Block Differences
Was there any differences from a 1970's 350 truck block and the 1980's camaro block? Would there be any reasons that a 1970's block would be better if i was using aftermarket heads, pistons, ect.?

Actually, there is one other difference to watch out for...
Around 1980, they moved the oil dipstick from the driver's side to the pass side... the oil pans are different, and the LH dipstick will not work with stock exhaust manifolds. Makes a good excuse to get headers, which solve the problem.

when swapping years, as long as they're all pre 87, the only thing to watch out for between the internally balanced ones is the dipstick location... atleast as far as i recall.. might want to double check the starter mount too...
