327 into '91 RS
I'm getting ready to swap a '68 327 into my '91 RS LO3 (blown up). I'm gonna use the factory TBI induction (for now) with the 327 short block and new heads so I can bolt up the accessories as the '68 heads don't have to correct bolt holes. I think we have worked out most of the little details of this swap, but what am I gonna do with the knock sensor? Is there anything else I should be aware of before getting started?
I think a good question would be whether or not you should use the knock sensor for a 305 engine, or a 350. They are not the same part number. I'd research what the difference is between them, and what would work better with your 327.
I'd also buy some PROM burning equipment, since your engine displacement doesn't match any stock PROM.

Why not just stop and the jukyard and pick up a cheap carb and manifold for like $20?

BTW, the TBI is only gonna be temporary 'til I decide which way I want to go as far as induction (and cash outlay!) so as long as it runs at all, since the 305 is toast, I'll be happy.

The knock sensor just screws into the original block drain hole. All you'll have to do is unscrew the plug and screw the sensor in. I was using the original LG4 knock sensor on my 327 before I went non CCC. Had no problems with it.

You use the 350 knock sensor & ESC module because the bore size is the same as the 327.
