The ECM for a 305 TPI and a 350 TPI are the same (assuming they are the same year). It's the PROM that's different. You will need fuel injectors for a 350, and a 350 PROM, that's it.

Go your local Chevy Dealer and buy a 350 TPI Prom (chip) for your Model year car. Cost about $60, this will get you up and running without spending money for a custom chip.

You need a one for an L98. Also I am not positive on this but I think the ignition modules are different.

Read more about the 305 TPI to a 350 swap. You may need a few other items besides the chip. Did the same swap.

I am doing the same swap right now, The only problem I have ran into is the fact that I stepped up to #30 injectors. Is your TPI setup MAF or MAP sensor? What year? The reason I ask this is 'cause everything I have found shows that MAF will handle about a 10% increase in displacement without problems. I have MAF & will have to have a chip burned
