having trouble w/ throttle cable

i just got a lokar tpi throttle cable for my lt1. the problem i am having is that i have nothing to hold it onto the firewall. the hole in the firewall is way to big for it. i don't understand what i am supposed to do. can anyone help please.

There is supposed to be a rubber grommet on the cable to fill the hole and keep the cable from rubbing. If you have to, go to a junkyard and get a grommet from there. I don't know if any parts stores carry them or not.

there was a plastic plug attatched to the old cable. i don't think i have it hooked up right anyways. when i push down the gas pedal it pulls the whole cable and braid. it is not pulling just the thin cable. it doesn't fastin to the firewall
