I have an 87 GTA that I had planned on putting in 330/350 until my buddy told me if I would tow his elCamino from his parents yard I could have the whole car. Now here is the good part, it has a brand new 350 crate motor in it. Its about six years old but has no miles on it. It was a project car he never finished. I realize I can't use my TPI set up with this so I was going to go with a carb. What I need to know is what can I do to beef this puppy up? I want to put in a different cam, go with a 750 carb and MSD ignition. What are some other things I can do to wake up my long waited project? Also my tranny is slipping so if I put in his th350 what will I be losing vs 700R4? Any help is appreciated.
