305 to 350 Vortec
Hi there,
I am looking at replacing my 305 LG4 with a 350 Vortec motor (96-00) complete with inlet manifold.
The supplier says that its a straight swap, i.e. all accessories and my hedders will fit straight on.
Is this true? I am keen for a second (or more) opinion
thanks...

you will need an intake for the vortec manifold.
your 305 headers will physically fit.. but are a little small for a big performering motor. all the other accesories will bolt up to it..

If the motor is coming with the intake manifold, as you indicate, you should be fine.
I know a lot of the manifold brackets (throttle cable and so on) would not fit on my swap and had to be modified.
