Random Questions

Did 2.8 and 305/350 cars have different length throttle cables ?

Also if Im taking the cruise control out of my car(83 berlinetta), is it hooked up to anything else elctrically, or can I pretty much cut and tie off the wires?

... and I can't recall the other questions I had right now, but Im sure I'll have more later.

Ayways any help would be greatly appricated.

I do not think the trottle cables were different lengths, however I am not 100 percent sure.

My TPI car had an electronic interface to the curise control actuator. If it has wires going to it it will have to interface with the PCM

As for the wires get some of that aluminum like wrap and put it around the plug wires.

Just don't let your plug wires touch the headers. If they don't touch them, they shouldn't burn.

If you can't fix that problem, get some of the steel plug wire boot-covers that the LT1 engines came with on the 4thgen cars.
