im going to be pulling out my old 305 and building a 383 for my car. i dont want the headaces of messign with computers and fuel injection so i decided the best way to go would be carb. i have had lots of experiance tuning carbs and carb motors so im pretty good at that. what all will i need to make a 383 with a vac. adv. dist. work? id prefer to not have any SVS lights on so what should be done?

There is a way. You need to scan the code and see what is wrong and fix it. It is that easy.

Oh okay I got you. You can unplug the bulb that lights it up. Try a search and see what you come up with.
