hey guys my father and i made a deal. He gets me a new motor. 383, w/ a forged bottom end and AFr195's, LPE219 camshaft.
(nice long block). and i have to build him a deck for the hot tub, and side the house. aong with installing a fence. and he gets my 305tpi/700r4 everything from the rear of the trans to the front of the motor including the harness and ecm. so i was thinking if i can get the long block and get another 700r4 rebuilt and then get the HSr complete kit form summit would that kit easily fit into my car?

right now i know i will need a new converter, dist, wires, plugs, lil bs tranny and water pump. i will keep my alternator power steering pump and delete my egr, air pump and a/c.

i just want to know how much work is involved and what do i have to do, not exactly but enough to give me an idea on what i'm getting myself into
