LT1 voltage out of wack???
whats up guys. well i thought i had this problem solved but i guess not. i took my car out for a ride today (i couldn't take it any more ) and every thing was good exept the voltage. when i frist turned the car on the voltage needle is fine but when i start going the needle gets lower and lower like it slowly not charging. but when i slow down it moves up and down slowly and never gets back to where it has to be till i come to a complete stop and again slowly moves back up. i dont know if i got the wire that comes from the lt1 hooked up right. does it go to ign or to the battery? now im talking about the red wire that comes from the c220 cavity a. do i have the right wire hooked up or is there another one HELP!!! thanks guy

Sounds like the alternator is going out if your voltage climbs, I had to replace mine also, wouldn't charge past 11 v. I knew it was the ALT because I had a brand new battery.

I went and got my battery and alternator checked and both where good. i got to find the correct wires too see if they are connected right. does it go to ing. or to 12v?
