350 tpi build

Thanks for taking the time to help... My 305 tbi has seen better days! When i get my income tax i'm going to buy this engine..http://www.rebuilt-auto-engines.com/...10104129159.29 In the mean time i would like to know what parts i will need to build her complete.. I want to start buying the secondary parts, so when Feburary rolls around i can install my new engine... any help would be greatfully appreciated..

You'll need a full tpi setup of course, with wiring, etc, tpi fuel pump, tpi air intake setup, though if going through all the effort why not take the better results of swapping in a used LT1 ?

Any of them will work, theres quite a bit of information in the stickys up top if you read through them, 95 would be the best year to get, then 2nd in line would be a 96/97 and acquiring a 94-95 computer, 93 is pretty much bottom of the totem pole, i know some of the info avail is incorrect or confusing, but for the benefits you gain, the swap is quite an all around upgrade.

About the link for the rebuilt engine you were considering:

Don't. They're giving you boat-anchor heads.

As for LT1's, this recent post contains some of the info that may be of value to you.
