I Have a 1987 IROC-Z with a 305ci carb. had it since 1990.. Modifications done to it is just a turbo 350 tranny and 373 gears posi rear.. I just put in a 1989 corvette motor, but confused on the fuel system.. I know I need to put in a electric fuel pump---so do i have to get a new gas tank or i can somehow make the old one work out.. and what size pump "psi"? and when buying an exhaust---just ask for exhaust for 87 IROC with a 350ci right..
I got 1 more? Any cheap tips on the 350 for more HP gain----cam-headers--roller rockers etc.. nothing major/// Thanx guys, help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Are u sticking with a carb or going with fuel injection?

 

I'm keeping the Fuel injection as is--- with the computer. everything is there---complete wire harness...

Well you will need all of the sensors and wire harness. Any exhaust tailored for 3rd gens will fit. Check out the TPI board for tips on "hopping" it up. You can use your current tank but you will need to have an electric pump that can make around 45 psi of pressure. I would get the entire sending unit out of a TPI car and just install and aftermarket pump.
