removing ECM

hey guys, did a search, didn't find anythign right away however I searched at 1 30am in the morning, so i thought i'd ask. I have a 91 V6 RS. taking out motor and putting in a carbed 406. by the sounds of it, all gauges will still work. the special coded key thing might be an issue, and I have to ground out my TCC? also my electric speedo needs a special device to read foram a mechanical speedo tranny.

but anywho, I took off the panel under where the passanger feet go. and noticed two silver boxes there. so i'm taking one of them is the ECM/ which one is which? and what is the other one? do I cut, or disconect? rewire what? easiest to take off dash?

thanks a bunch

cheers
