Balanced internals?
Balanced internals?
can anybody tell me if an 87 2.8 engine uses a neutrally balanced flywheel? I am trying to swap one into my s10, because i spun a few bearings on my original motor, and the flywheel on the firebird motor is too thick for the bellhousing. I should be able to use my flywheel, unless the firbird uses a neutrally balanced flywheel. I know that the balanced internals on the 2.8 started in 88 for s10's but im not sure about the firebirds. Any help would be great. Thanks
