Engine: 4.0
Transmission: 5 speed
87 GTA motor and trans into 85 pickup
I plan on pulling the motor and trans out of my 87 GTA and puting them into my 85 chevy fullsize truck. I know I need to hook all the sensors and stuff up for it to work. Does anyone know if the tranny cross member will need to be modified? the truck has a th-350 in it. Also, will I need a new chip for it, because the rear gears are different and the truck weighs a lot more. Any help at all would be a huge help. Thanks in advance.
