That is preety steep to me, i paid less than that for a complete long block 350 with tinware and such.
Machine work on my 350 heads is running about $150,
Maybe you should see you local Kragens, etc. for short block prices then atleast you have some security...

its going to end up being 1200 for the heads and the 350 short block, with everything i need to assemble myself. all the gaskets and everything like that...
