Pics of my LS1 swap progress
Well, I've just about got my LS1 completely back together with all the new parts. 8) Its still a stock rotating assembly with the addition of ARP rod bolts. Other than that, everything is just about new. All new gaskets/seals, ARP rod bolts, ported LS6 oil pump, double roller timing set, different cam
, thunder racing pushrods, P&P heads, blue stripe 918 springs w/ titanium retainers, LS6 intake, ASP pulley and it will have custom headers/exhaust along with a T56 behind it with a SPEC St. 3 clutch. I'll have to get a 9" or 12 bolt soon after the swap. All I have to order yet is my custom wiring harness, clutch, new shifter, and then sort out my exhaust situation. I'm starting to get kinda excited, now sure when it will be running. Just thought I'd share my info and post some pics... all the others are on pages 8-12 in my album on Team3rdgen.com Whatcha guys think?

I could see if you were in some real competetive racing class with strict regulations on what you can and can't mod, it could give you an edge...but how many people can truely say that??? It's not like anyone of us wouldn't be able to call up thunder racing and buy the exact same grind. In fact, I think I will, and then I will tell everyone the specs, and your gig will be up...muahhahahahaha!

Well I ran a few different combinations of Weld Draglites on my car. Some of the pics in my album show it with a 4th gen rear, some with a 3rd gen, some with 15x8 rears with 5.5" backspacing, some with 15x8's with 3.5 or 4.5" BS. Fronts were always 3.5" with 165R15's on them. If you show me a pic I can tell you what I had on it at that time.

Well, the 12-bolt I am runnin is the same size (width) as a stock 3rd gen 10 bolt, so what ever back space you ran on the 3rd gen rear. I like the wheels/tires to be even with the body or slightly in.
What about the ones in your signature pic?
Tire size for the rear would be cool, too.
Thanks!!
