You've got to know what heads are on it. "350 heads" is pretty much meaningless. If he said, "It's a Vette engine," then you can be sure you need to doublecheck everything.
Start with the casting #'s on the heads. There's a high probability they're junk, and your 305 heads would be much, much better. Get those numbers before doing anything else. They're under the valve cover, the last 3 are all you really need (but go ahead and post the full #). Get it from both heads, as mixing is not all that uncommon.
Your LG4 intake manifold will probably be fine. Spending money on a Performer probably won't be money well spent. It really depends upon what else you do, anyway.
Go for Hooker 2055 headers. Great product, then put a Catco 9118 cat and your choice of '86-'90 TPI single cat application cat-back.
Cam will depend upon what you want/need out of it.
You haven't said anything about emissions. What requirements do you need to meet, if any?

about the heads i wont be able to get the #'s until i get it off him because i dont think he knows the numbers and with both of us working its hard to catch him on one of his days off.
i have my 305 heads that i can swap so they should work fine right?
i already have a flowmaster american thunder cat-back with gutted cat with a straight pipe welded in there
now when you say TPI cat-back does it matter if mine is a carb motor? will it be able to hookup with collectors and a Y-pipe
also about emission i think my car might be able to get a classic title because i believe that after 20 years it is elidgable for one. but if not i should have to worry about it as i can get somebody to slap a sticker on anyways.
