LT-1 Question???

LT-1 Question???

i just did a search on the LT-1 swap and there are alot of good things to follow but not the thing im looking for. I really want to do this swap!!! But is there any way i could use my wiring harness and burn a chip for my computer in order to run the LT-1 or do i have to get the the LT-1 harness???? and couldnt i use my 305 acc brakets for my AC, Alt, Power steering pump ect.... let me know!!!

First off, its LT1, not LT-1.

Second, good luck trying to burn a prom and get your thirdgen ECM to work with the optispark. Not going to happen.

Third, someone has done the swap and kept his thirdgen accessories, but I can't remember who it was. IIRC it was a pain in the ***.

sorry for the miss print but do you think its possible to put on the acc on the LT1??? isnt it the same 350 motor just with a little bit more punch to it??? so for sure i have to get the harness. how long will that take to do??

The block isnt even the same, the water pump area is different, do yourself a favor and get the front accessory's with the engine, and yes you need the harness / computer. You'd be looking at more headaches and $ making the stock ecm/harness work with the engine.
