ok, i bought a 96 camaro with a 3.8 in it right,

the rod goes straight throught the block, so i had it replaced

imeditly with a 3.8 out of a 98 camaro, with no prob. except the

pilet bearin is differnt so i had to get a 96, anyways i started it

and its knockin again, but not a so bad knock, so i let it sit fo like

3 days then go to move it and i hit sec gear and it stops knockin.

havnt had any prob. yet, what could it of been?? carbon build up?

Can't see any direct application, myself.

One guy put a 4th gen 3.8 in his 3rd gen, but I haven't heard him complain about a rod through the block or a knock.
