do i bleed the system with the car running or do i bleed the system with the car off

 

Put coolant in. Start car. Unscrew the bleeder screw near the thermostat housing. Wait ti'll fluid shoots out, close bleeder screw. Done.

 

one important thing, wait till the coolant is up to temperature so the thermostat is open

 

Don't you have to bleed both screws? Or is one acceptable?

 

Should be only one screw...... Never heard of a second bleeder screw.

 

My '95 has two bleeder screws and have read some posts about bleeding both screws on CZ28.

Weird! Where is the second screw? I only have one near my thermostat housing. I have a 95.

 

I will have to dig up a pic. The car is in storage so I can't get to it easily. I only noticed that there were two screws when I bled the system a summer ago. There were two bleeder valves around the thermostat (been while and can't even remember where they are) that are about a few inches apart from each other. Apparently you can bleed one effectivly or tyou can do a two step process. I didn't really look into it much past that but I can see I need to now

 

Here is a pic. You can see the one bleeder screw in the line there. I am not sure if people include this in their swaps. If they do then they have 2 bleeders.

 

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yea, that crap ain't on my car. The waterpump itself has a bleeder, only one I use.

 

I only found one bleeder by thermostat( is there One are Two bleeders ?) Help
