Those that have swaped to a non ECU controlled carb
I've decided to switch from the stock q-jet to an Edelbrock 4bbl, so my question is what trottle cable bracket have u guys used to allow you to hook up your throttle cable and the 700R4 kickdown cable? I would also like to use the factory cruise as well but its not a must.

I have a 5-speed, and soon a 4-speed, so I can't help with the automatic-related questions or cruise questions, but when I did a manifold and carb change (Holley 4160 4bbl, Edelbrock manifold) I just reused the stock throttle cable and bracket. I haven't had any problems with them. Bolted up just like on the stock manifold, and didn't give me a hard time.

well, you can go to pep boys and get one of their brakets, you will have to cut it and make it fit for the kickdown part of the braket, i did it, came out good, easy adjustment also.
