lt1 motor mounts
I know the motor mount have to be modified for a/c, but where do I get the motor mounts that are already designed for the swap? thanks
It's good for one guy to say, "No such thing" if he/she already knows the answer. But, that doesn't actually HELP the person that asked the QUESTION.
Basically, you use stock Thirdgen SBC mounts, and if you want to keep a/c, you notch the K Member to clearance the compressor.

I was asking, because I read somewhere, about some "carquest" or something like that, mounts that were designed for lt1 swapped 3rd gens. or maybe i smoked too much that night...

You basically read the line about going to carquest to get the ac line for the LT1 swap.
All I did was use a cutoff wheel and notched the mount. Took all of about 3 mins.
I'll try to upload some pics on thursday or so...... its not that bad
you still have to notch your crossmember, but its not much. Some have pounded it in with a hammer, I chose to cut it out. Same cut off wheel, maybe 10 mins of slow cutting (and the notch was still longer than it had to be)

Yes, the CarQuest line was about the A/C fittings, not the motor mounts.
As far as the tubular cross-member, not sure if anyone has completed the swap to know if it clears. I would think it would due to the angles, but I don't know where the main tube is at in relation to the compressor.
