Questions about headers and AC

I have been looking at some headers and decided to ask if anyone knew if there would be a power difference between shorty headers and the longer headers?
When I read the swap facts about the AC compressor I left unsure of the difference between the V6 comp and the V8. Am I to understand that the V6 comp will probably not be able to be used any longer after the brackets are switched?
I have also noted that some people have brought up the issue of 2 piece rear mains. When you have a two piece rear main setup are there any issues with the transmission that need to be addressed?
Thank you for your help.

Long tubes you will lose a little torque on the bottom end, not for sure about the ac, and the biggest thing about 2 piece rear seals are they tend to leak.

Okay, let's try this:

Long tubes tend to broaden the torque band, producing better torque at low RPMs. However, there's a price to pay in our cars, reduced ground clearance.

The AC compressor may swap over to the V8, but most likely the V6 hoses won't be the right length. Things changed over the years, but if you have V8 brackets & hoses, your V6 compressor may work.

2-piece rear main seal requires a different flex plate than a 1-piece rear main seal engine. Otherwise, the transmission & torque converter bolt to the engine exactly the same regardless of which type the engine is.
