Well guys I need some advice. I want to get rid of my serpentine belt system and swap to v-belts. I'm going to be using the brackets off of my 79 GMC K1500. The problem is my water pump. I won a stewart SWP off of ebay. My truck is set up for a LWP. The alt brackets attach to the water pump. If I get a driverside short mount will it still work with my power steering and my pulleys if I shim the WP?
