swapped engine now have problems

Just got the engine in and hooked up.. went to attach the battery and the starter kicks on.. what is going wrong?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89

You've got the solenoid terminal connected to battery. Most likely the terminals are touching each other at the starter.

I had a mechanic buddy button up the starter because I didn't know where the wires went... Figures the one thing I didn't do..hahahaha. I look when I get back from Canada's wonderland.
